This video covers the Taming the Beast quest chain from the point just prior to Thotar gives you a taming Rod for just a Dire Mottled Boar in Razor Hill. Thotar gives you a series of 3 taming rods, every one is different and allows you tame beasts in the next order: Dire Mottled Boar, Surf Crawler and finally an Armored Scorpid.

After getting finished the taming Element of The hunt chain, you must head to Orgrimmar and speak to Ormak Grimshot while in the Valley of Honor so as to unlock your pet handling skills: Tame Beast; Feed Pet; Revive Pet; and Beast Training.

Finally, do not forget to go to the Pet Trainer and get the Pet abilities that you need to give to imp source your companion pet.
